PVC Flooring Maintenance

PVC flooring is very easy to maintain; simply wiping it with a mop is sufficient when the surface gets dirty. To maintain a lasting shine, periodic waxing is all that is required-a maintenance routine far less frequent than that needed for other types of flooring.
First, avoid scratching the PVC flooring with sharp objects during daily use. When cleaning, use a neutral detergent and a soft cloth, avoiding strong acids or alkalis that could damage the surface. Second, regular waxing helps preserve the floor's luster and extends its service life; it is recommended to wax the floor every 3 to 6 months. In high-traffic areas such as shopping malls and hospitals, cleaning frequency should be increased, and professional floor cleaning machines should be used. Additionally, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent the flooring from fading or aging. Finally, for anti-static PVC flooring, the surface resistance should be checked regularly to ensure the anti-static performance meets required standards.
