PVC flooring: Based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, this flooring is produced by adding auxiliaries-such as plasticizers, stabilizers, and fillers-followed by high-temperature compounding and shaping via calendering or extrusion. Vinyl Flooring: Wear resistance is relatively lower, and the surface coating is prone to wear; it is better suited for light commercial or residential settings.
Environmental Friendliness:
PVC Flooring: Attention must be paid to the content of plasticizers (such as phthalates) and heavy metals; high-quality products meet EU REACH and RoHS certifications, and formaldehyde emissions can reach the E0 standard (≤0.5 mg/L).
Vinyl Flooring: The material itself is formaldehyde-free; however, some low-cost products may exceed Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) limits due to the use of recycled materials, so it is advisable to choose products made from virgin materials.
