Floor Protection Film Materials

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride): Thick, wear-resistant, and tear-resistant; suitable for hard flooring like tile or marble, though prone to deformation at high temperatures.
EVA Foam: Similar in texture to a yoga mat; high density and good surface adhesion. Often laminated with woven fabric, it offers excellent cushioning and slip resistance, making it a recommended choice for home renovations.
Pearl Cotton (EPE): Soft and inexpensive, but relatively thin; prone to delamination or bubbling under heavy foot traffic, so it is not ideal for long-term floor protection.
PE (Polyethylene): Soft and low-cost; leaves little to no adhesive residue when removed. Suitable for short-term, light-duty protection, such as guarding against dust and paint splatters.
Non-woven Fabric: Offers better water resistance than woven fabric but comes at a higher price point; typically used by renovation companies for custom applications.
